Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents have the right to direct a business that sells or shares their personal information to stop doing so. Other states may provide similar rights. You may exercise this right at any time.
When you use our Site and submit information through our forms, we may collect identifiers (name, email, phone, address, ZIP code), demographic information (date of birth, gender), health-related information you voluntarily provide, insurance preferences, internet activity information (IP address, browser type, pages visited), and device identifiers.

FinalExpenseChoice is a lead generation website. When you submit a quote request, we share your personal information with licensed insurance agents and carriers so they can contact you with personalized quotes. Under the CCPA/CPRA, this sharing may be considered a "sale" or "share" of personal information, even though we do not exchange your data for monetary payment.

Please note that if you opt out, we will no longer share your personal information with agents or carriers, meaning you will not receive personalized insurance quotes through our service.
To protect your privacy, we will verify your identity before processing your request. We may ask you to confirm information you previously submitted. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
We will acknowledge your request within 15 business days and complete it within 45 days. If additional time is needed, we will notify you in writing (up to 90 days total as permitted by law).
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your opt-out rights. You will not receive different pricing or quality of service because you chose to opt out.
Some browsers and browser extensions can transmit an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control (GPC). We are working toward recognizing those signals automatically. Until this page says that we do, please use the email or telephone route in section 4, so that your request is definitely recorded. We would rather say that plainly than let you assume a browser signal has reached us.
Health details you volunteer are sensitive personal information under the CCPA. You may direct us to limit our use and disclosure of that information to what is needed to provide the service you requested. Because passing health details to a licensed agent is how a quote gets produced, exercising this right will normally mean we can no longer obtain personalized quotes for you. Request it the same way you would an opt-out.
Our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. If you believe we have information about a minor, contact us and we will delete it.
Separately from the CCPA, California Civil Code section 1798.83 lets California residents request, once a year, details of personal information disclosed to third parties for those parties' own direct marketing. Use the contact details below.
A number of other states now provide comparable rights, including the right to opt out of the sale of personal information or of targeted advertising. Use the same methods in section 4 and tell us which state you live in, and we will handle your request under the law that applies to you.
